Doctor Zhivago: Blini

Blini are small pancakes and are a traditional accouterment to caviar. I served them in the traditional manner, with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of caviar. Here we used black caviar, but I love the large red/orange eggs from salmon almost as much. Blini can be made in advance, and warmed up for serving.
